I must write this now. It can’t wait till the morrow.
I must write my review for Edge of Tomorrow.
It starts with Tom Cruise mouthing off to his boss,
And getting arrested and subject to shocks.
Then he wakes up and meets his new boss,
Someone who thinks that his head’s full of rocks.
He does a few pushups and puts on a mech suit
And freefalls out of an airplane,
Whereupon, he does battle with alien foes,
One of which makes him begin again.

Live! Die! Repeat!

Then he wakes up and meets his new boss,
Who introduces him to his teammates.
Cruise already knows them. Their deaths are no loss.
He knows he’ll still get to meet his new teammates.
He climbs back into his suit and leaps from his plane,
Falling hard for a pretty young woman,
Who’s so great at killing their alien foes
That being near her can be a good omen.
Then they both die.

Live! Die! Repeat!

Then he wakes up and meets his new boss
And puts on his mech suit again.
Practice makes perfect. The more often he dies,
The sooner he can live again.

Live! Die! Repeat!

Then he wakes up and meets his new boss
But instead of revisiting the line of fire,
Tom Cruise decides instead to play hooky from work,
And rolls under a moving tire.

Live! Die! Repeat!

Then he wakes up and meets his new boss
By now you can guess the next part.
He meets his new teammates and his new lady friend,
Before the aliens tear them apart.

This film is for people both the young and the old.
Anyone might like to see this.
If you hate Tom Cruise and want to see him keep dying,
Else you love Tom Cruise and want to see him keep living,
Or if you might be pleasantly surprised by a mainstream Hollywood movie with a story
Then watch it. You might even need this.
The aliens came from a lot further than Mars.
I give this film five out of six stars.
