Avengers: Age of Ultron
Directed by Joss Whedon
Starring Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson
Tony Stark has a helper
Who’s inside his Iron Man Suit.
This helper’s name is Jarvis,
Electronic AI at its root.
Well, Jarvis is so intelligent
That Tony considers him alive,
For he’s a sentient AI being
Who can do more things than I’ve.
But there’s another sentient AI,
Whom the Avengers discover by chance.
It’s hidden in Loki’s scepter,
Which they take from HYDRA’s hands.
For some very unwise reason,
Bruce Banner and Tony Stark
Decide to give this thing control
Of a defense system’s many parts,
So the AI becomes all powerful
With strong enough weapons, mind,
That if he really wanted to,
He could eliminate Mankind.
Of course, that’s what he really wants
And tries to take out the Avengers.
He kills Jarvis, steals the scepter,
And unleashes the heros’ anger.
It turns out that Jarvis is still alive,
And wants his own revenge.
They turn him into a powerful android
Who is programmed to avenge.
They give him an Infinity Stone
To decorate his forehead,
And colour him magenta,
And rename him Vision instead.
This is the weakest Avengers film,
But it more than holds its own.
It gets a four-point-five out of six.
Watch it with friends or alone.
