Sylvester Stallone’s fascination with prisons
Didn’t fade away last time when he was in prison.
Retired now from the FBI,
He decided to give his own business a try.
His start-up includes a handful of mercs
Who have it drilled into them how prison works.
The movie begins with his now seasoned team
In a third-world jail synonymous with scream,
Where they break out some hostages, but one of their guys
Messes up and one of them dies.
Stallone then fires his employee
Who quickly teams up with the enemy.

This is Whomever, the real star of the movie.

He designs for the bad guys a prison so great
That no one can possibly escape
And to test it out he imprisons a man
Who is not Stallone but who works for him.
Why not Sylvester? Well, you see,
He declined to be the centerpiece of this movie,
Taking a far smaller role than before,
Perhaps because he was sorely bored.

“Man, I love bein’ in prison.”

So, when his employee takes an unauthorized vacation,
He focuses his team to find his location.
Eventually they discern the locus of the prison
And Sly allows himself to be encased within.
He brings a radio to communicate
With his team, who help him to storm the gates.
This strong modern prison could be breached,
And the evil warden falls when he’s in Sly’s reach.

His film wasn’t as good as its predecessor.
It gets a 3 out of 6 because it was lesser.
