If ever a movie sequel Did not have to be made, It would definitely be this one. Though greenlit and okayed, It’s clear it was just made for money. This was nobody’s vision. The Terminator story has already concluded. It was only the studio’s mission To keep pumping out more movies, And this is the first one of those That copied elements of the originals, But still managed to blow. That same time machine that got destroyed Back in Terminator One, It's still in perfect working order. As for an explanation, we get none Two more Terminators Are sent back in time To kill and save John’s lieutenants, this time. His lieutenants? Well, since they can’t find John, Their Number One target, They track his lieutenants, Their secondary targets. What’s next? His foot soldiers? His food suppliers? His scouts? His mailmen? His Tupperware suppliers? In any case they find one, Just as John pays a visit. The evil Terminator Has two targets, single digits.
This Terminator’s a classy one, Played by Kristanna Loken. She’s menacing, yet funny. She’s never too outspoken. She tries to kill John Connor, Who has become a bit of a druggie, But is stopped by the T800, A Terminator still played by Arnie. Arnie is the same Terminator Who killed John in the future. Now entirely reprogrammed, He’s here to help Man’s future. John’s future lieutenant Is a female veterinarian. Little does she now suspect That she’ll love John and she’ll marry him. This movie is perfectly watchable, But the first two movies grabbed you. They pulled you into the story And made you love it more than I do. This film is rather missable. You can watch it if you’re bored. You’ll get some humour and some action, But you’ll hardly be floored. It really does feel like a paycheck For all involved. I’m giving a respectable four But I think this one is unloved.
