The Terminator
From 1984
Meets an older Terminator
Who came a while before.

This older Terminator
Came to Sarah when she was nine.
He’s still Arnold Schwarzenegger,
But no longer in his prime.

He kills his muscular former self,
But he doesn’t get to die,
Because he has a T-1000
To destroy the meantime.

A T-1000 in 1984?
A T800 from before?
Just what is going on here?
Just what do we have in store?

The film starts out with John Connor
Winning the War Against The Machines.
He sends Kyle Reese back in time
To confront the 1984 machine,

But Arnie beat them to it,
But it’s no great loss.
Sarah Connor’s safe and sound.
At last, their paths crossed.

This Arnie has built a Time Machine
In which they can visit the future,
So they might unplug Skynet
Before it destroys the future.

Okay, so the plot is kind of crazy,
And this is only the beginning.
A lot more has to happen
Before the credits commence singing.

Unbelievable or not,
This movie is pretty fun.
It doesn’t compare to the first one, of course,
And especially not the second one,

But you’ll have some entertainment
You won’t have to think too hard about.
I’m giving this a five,
Though I’m still trying to figure it out.
